Glamour

Glamour modelling is the sort of modelling jobs in which instead of promoting any products from companies, you are actually trying to promote yourself and sell your images. This is an area in industries in which it is easier to break in to if you have a desirable body especially for swimsuit models or lingerie or if you like the attention, a page 3 model.

Unlike any other modelling work, as a glamour model it is helpful to be curvy and voluptuous. Companies all over the world use glamour or fashion models to promote their company by featuring the models on through calendar marketing campaigns. Magazines that are world famous such as Penthouse and Playboys featured glamour models and have helped these models to become as famous as celebrity in its own right.

Glamour modelling is fairly accessible compared to any other modelling jobs. There are tons of photographers who do test shoots for glamour models. However, there are also a lot of seedy photographers involved in this field which is the more reason you should check out your client before signing any contract.

As a glamour model, you have to be confident and comfortable and in control. Getting a high pay jobs a glamour model will required a lot of effort as much as becoming a fashion model. In most countries, to become a glamour model, you will have to be 18 years old and older. Some countries have been known to set the standard to be as high as 21 years old for glamour models.
